Man Cries Black Ink Tears After Eyeball Tattoos
This is not the first guy to do this. I saw one with blue and one white red where their eyes were white in the MSNBC prison shows a few years ago. The would not disclose how they were done in prison. 39 year old Brazilian got ‘eye ball tattoo’ and wept black-ink tears for two days after the procedure 21 March 2013 RIO DE JANEIRO — Already covered in tattoos over 70 percent of his body, 39-year-old Rodrigo Fernando dos Santos decided to get an, “eyeball tattoo.” Rodrigo, known as, "Musquito," in the town where he lives with his wife in Sao Paulo, said that he wept black-ink tears for two days after the procedure. “I wept ink for two days. Only now is the color of my tears lightening up. I think they are still half gray,” the tattoo lover told G1. Musquito, a tattoo artist himself for the last seven years in Sao Carlos explained that the procedure consisted of injecting ink into the protective layer of the eye. “Nobody inspired me. I did it to remain different,” he said. The Brazilian Society of Ophthalmology does not endorse the procedure, which they say can cause internal inflammation, leading to vision loss. Despite the risks, Musquito remained confident. Musquito, the 13th Brazilian to try the, “eyeball tattoo,” had the procedure done three weeks ago. Although the practice is widespread in the United States, Jundiai (SP) tattoo artist Rafael Leao Dias, 31, is thought to be the only one performing the procedure in Brazil. The artist says that the imported ink used for this procedure is not the same as that used in traditional tattoos. He also uses a special syringe-like needle to inject the ink into the eyeball. “There is no drilling. We apply the ink between the conjunctiva and sclera layer that protects the eye. I studied the procedure for two years and performed my first application in Oct. 2012. The law does not prohibit this, here or abroad. There is no risk or discomfort due to the use of specific eyewash,” Dias explained. Musquito says he remained 100 percent sure that everything would work out fine, despite any risk. He paid R$1,000, (about US $500), for the procedure, which lasted about two hours. The new look has caused some problems. After the operation, on the way home from Jundiai, his wife and he had to find a hotel after their car’s headlamps burned out. “We arrived at reception and, upon viewing her husband’s eyes, they told us we could not stay,” said Musquito’s wife, Leticia. **Thank you to Smackeddie for the clip from, MSNBC's "Lock Up", where I first saw this procedure** <****** width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/30s6d67xCFA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></******> |

Thank you I'm not sure I'd mess with my eyes. Does your husband have his eyes tattooed I won't even have laser surgery. I'm afraid the doctor would sneeze or twitch, and I would never forgive myself for having the surgery, if I lost any more vision. |
