Adolf Hitler, The Worlds Most Famous Death Picture
This photo shows the body of the famous Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. This is perhaps the worlds most celebrated picture relating to the death of an individual. This is the image that was widely circulated at the time of Hitler's death. There are people however that believe this image is not the actual death photo. This thread is mainly here to show you the historical image thought to be that of of Hitler, yet there is always the chance history is wrong, so do your own research. Re: Adolf Hitler, The Worlds Most Famous Death Picture
That's not Hitler that's a lookalike. Hitler supposedly committed suicide in a bunker and ordered it to be burned upon his death. His body was never found.

Re: Adolf Hitler, The Worlds Most Famous Death Picture
Saw a documentary a few yrs ago about the whole Hitler suicide thing, his body, and that of Eve Braum, were burned/destroyed. In a box in some Russian library or something they have the bones they claimed to be his skull. The person showing the bones claimed they had them DNA tested against some relatives and they were indeed those of Hitler. I don't totally accept that but it could be true. And if so what about the remains of Eve Braum and his dog. He has his German Shepard named Blondie shot too. I'm guessing their remains were not recognizable from the many other dead and burned bodies every where in Berlin at the time and tossed into a mass grave of unknown dead. |

Re: Adolf Hitler, The Worlds Most Famous Death Picture
Depressing that this Soviet propaganda photo still has cred with anyone. It's staged. The NKVD just got a corpse (there were plenty to choose from in Berlin in May 1945). It doesn't even look like Hitler (too young); that's why the photo is so grainy.
