Wow. Great pictures. Surely someone must still be living there in some capacity, or at least looking after the place? It appears to be full of valuable items which I'm surprised haven't been half-inched.

you are right on the dot it could be abandoned when a certain adolf hitler started his reign of terror and from the looks of the mansion and the dresses and photos there seems to be from that late 1930's early 1940's era.

I'd guess it was abandoned long after the war. The typewriter in picture five and the ring binders shown in picture seventeen date from the 60's / 70's.
