Brock Lesnar Tears Off Car Door, Accidentally Throws It Into Young WWE Fan
Some of you might know Brock Lesnar as an unstoppable UFC heavyweight, but since his MMA retirement he's made a return to WWE. He's still gigantic, meaty and terrifying, as evidenced recently by a moment on Raw where he tore a passenger door off a Cadillac. In all of his rage and theater, Lesnar then whipped it through the air. Part of that throw didn't go quite as planned: The door sailed into the stands striking a young fan and flattening him. It's hard to see in the original broadcast because of when the camera cut away, but a fan sitting behind the young boy had his phone camera rolling as the door was launched into the air. It's still difficult to see, but you can see a boy in a blue shirt who gets hammered by the door. As dangerous as it looked, everything turned out okay. According to PWInsider.com, the boy was tended to by WWE paramedics, and then he was brought backstage for a brief period of time. He finished the WWE Raw show from his seat in the stands -- most likely bruised, but probably happy to have had such an intimate experience. http://m-yahoo.thepostgame.com/blog/...-young-wwe-fan · · · |

Lesnar had no skill at all, he relied on sheer strength and size to subdue his opponents. But as some of us saw that isn't enough. |

He also dove headfirst into the deep end of the most brutal division in the UFC with basically only a collegiate wrestling background and a brief training in basic striking...did pretty good considering that. Might also have to factor in the fact that he nearly died and had to have a large portion of his intestines removed in an emergency surgery prior to his title defense. You don't the The Rock or Bautista doing that! Ju'sayin'... |

When he came up the UFC heavyweight devision was far, far weaker than it is today. They hand fed him guys that played to Brocks strength ( wrestling ), and when he finally had to defend his title against legitimate opponents we found out that he would literally turn his back and run when he takes a solid punch in the face. |

Say what you want about Lesnar's pro wrestling career, but he won the ufc heavyweight title and defended it. Brock vs Fedor at the time would have been the highest selling mma ppv fight of all time and it's a damn shame that fight never happened. Brock shattered the previous mma ppv record at ufc 100. Say what you want about him but he had the balls to sign with the big show and overachieved with limited mma experience.

He's an athletic guy on juice with a wrestling background Take him at his prime and he's not even top 5 today. The most protected and coddled fighter in the history of MMA..... We'll have to wait and see, maybe CM Punk will take that title from him. |

Re: Brock Lesnar Tears Off Car Door, Accidentally Throws It Into Young WWE Fan
First off all let me say from the gate that i'm not a fan of Brock Lesnar, nor do I watch pro wrestling. I do however respect what Lesnar has done with his limited time in the game and also his ongoing battle with diverticulitis that sidelined him back in 09. That being said, his pay-per-view sales alone justify Lesnar as one of the most popular and watched fighters to ever enter the Octagon. Regarding his ped use, the UFC has a strict policy against the use of any illegal performance enhancing drugs or masking agents, which Brock never tested positive for under the ufc banner. Whether or not he was using PED'S in wwf it's completely inapplicable regarding his mma career. Lastly, there’s no denying that Lesnar faced the absolute best of the best from his first day in the UFC to the last time he stepped out of Octagon. If you think he was "protected and cuddled" by fighting Frank Mir, Heath Herring, Randy Couture, Frank Mir again, Shane Carwin, Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem, then you sir have no real understanding of the sport and/or history of it. |
