Bachelor's Grove Cemetery (CHICAGO)
May 16, 2011- We went to Bachelor's Grove Cemetery just outside of Chicago. It was a fun experience to be surrounded by all that history, though I am sad to say i didn't see or hear anything that would be out of the ordinary. I plan to go back after dusk to see if my experience is different. After being there about a half hour with my sister and my husband, an older man came walking in with all kind of stories and backround on the area. He had some cool storeis says my husband, I was busy taking pictures. This man named Andy, claims to be going to the cemetery since 1965 and claims he has never seen a thing. Even staying over night for about a week in the cemetery. Still says he never heard or saw a thing. In his words, "After a couple of bottles of BonesFarm and a joint, ANYBODY will SEE something!" lol I like his theory. I hope you enjoy the pics even though they aren't spooky in any way. |

Re: Bachelor's Grove Cemetery (CHICAGO)
Last year while I was on tour I got to spend my afternoon in Pittsburgh wandering around Allegheny Cemetery. It is the most intense cemetery I've seen, the crypts and gravestones are hundreds of years old and they tower over you. Row upon row of massive 20 ft tall sculpted grave markers. Look it up! By the way I'm from Chi, too and I've never been to Bachelors. I gotta go this summer.

never been there, but i cant help but feel that these pictures werent shot in the right manner, since it feels like they don't capture the atmosphere which that place could have.
