It doesn't sound like there was any coercing, his voice is strong,precise, very clear and he speaks with a conviction and openness that you don't get when you coach a child to say something...I know I have kids, I've tried it  He is very emotionless your right DON, this kid needs to be monitored for many years to come...who knows why he did it...he may be just a natural born killer(sorry to use a movie quote:-P)it may have been self defense, but then their would be more emotion and we haven't seen the whole interview so me speculating means shit. |

Fact of the matter is that if the kid was going to kill somebody he was going to make sure he got access to the gun- it was premeditated. Just because this is America people don't keep loaded guns on the kitchen table. With kids you buy trigger lock and gun safes, but if somebody wants access to a gun they will find a way to get a gun. Its a trigger locks; they steal the key. If they cant reach it; they get a ladder, if their parents don't own one; they take it from the neighbors house. If the child attacked his father with a roman candle I wouldn't be blaming china- at least without all the facts in front of me.  |

All though I agree with your statement about not keeping loaded guns on the kitchen table....unfortunately there are some real low-life pond sucking scum disguised as parents out there, ones that do not give a shit about their child's safety and obviously their own(but it is all speculation we don't know the circumstances in this situation) Here in Australia we just don't have this problem in the magnitude that America does...We don't have guns in every household, we don't have "the right to bear arms" laws and rules are made to be broken or re-written..... Bear arms...just doesn't look right...I keep picturing big hairy bear arms locked away in a safe ready to shoot off a round of bear claws. |

I wonder how he feels about it. What he knows of death... Now he's going to be in a juvenile detention center until 18-21 and possibly spend a year in prison... young boy gets to go in, learn several illicit trades and then be reintegrated into the system. AMERIKKA!  |
