During the assault of the outpost in Kramatorsk, gunmen of the National Guard killed female nurse and three of her friends. The car in which unarmed young people wanted to leave for some safe place was gunned. Everyone who was in the car died on the spot. According to an eyewitness, two bullets hit the girl through the rear window of the car.

The 21-year-old nurse was shot on Saturday, local people said, while standing ready to provide first aid during the Ukrainian government’s offensive against pro-Moscow separatists, which had been launched the day before.

Three thousand inhabitants of Kramatorsk have bid farewell to Yulia Izotova. Yulia was only 21, she had just graduated from a nursing school. When the Ukrainian army attacked Kramatorsk, an armored personnel carrier fired at the car she was riding in, together with three of her friends. Two 14.7mm bullets pierced the back seat and Yulia's body, killing her.
