I think '131 is on to something, though. She obviously did not feel validated with her life; as successful as she was-she based her own happiness on how society viewed her physical being...Which is how influencers gain their followers, etc., by their appearance.

That’s how I felt for a long time…I didn’t want to turn 30. I didn’t want to get older at all after I turned 19 I became super depressed about my age…. My older brother committed suicide days before his 32nd birthday. Who tf wants to get older especially when you’re not very accomplished. It kind of feels like what’s the point of living …I have a few family members to keep me going. But if success doesn’t qwell this sadness. It’s going to be a harder fight to fight. Oh well. Hope I end up on this website.

Turning 30 does feel like you fade away. But only if you focus on the wrong people. My ex told me my time was over when I was like 27/28. But mind you he was 32 when he was dating me at 17 and lied to me and told me he was 25. He also told me I was so sexy then…..knowing he was talking about a minor. So it’s really only perverted people who go for this mindset. In general….way more men approach me now that at 17 I see way morey young guys checking me out now than when I was a teenager lol so only a pervert thinks I was that sexy back then….normal men don’t.

I've noticed the social value of men and women tend to go in opposite directions as they advance through life.

Most men in society tend to be viewed less than dirt in their 20s, but gain more social value in their 30s and 40s, almost entirely because of their age because many women prefer older and mature partners.

For women, their social value tends to max around the age of 18 if they have good looks, which is what a lot of influencers are riding on. However, as they get older, their tits and vag start to wrinkle and depreciate in value, most notably in their 30s, where they can't maintain their popularity and validation like before because a new generation of insta-models in their teens/ early 20s can easily replace them with their fresh new bodies and trendy dance moves

It's better to have another talent or hobby than just taking pictures of yourself on the internet and being a vocalist for social justice agendas if you plan to live happy for the long term.

I wish I had something profound to say here. Happiness and content(ness) has to come from within yourself...not from what others think of you.

My mother was a wanderer and dragged our family all over the country our entire lives looking for this happiness that she never found. She died in December last year. I hated her for what she did to us and once told her what I just told you.

I believe now that people like her can only find peace in death. She was never taught or never learned how to be at peace with herself and needed help. She refused to allow anyone to tell her she needed help and denied it herself.
