Re: Inside Columbine - With Video Shot From The Fire Department
I hadn't seen Radioactive Clothing. I saw a few seconds of it in some mash-up of Columbine videos that I downloaded ages ago but never knew what it was from. And I thought I had the comprehensive collection....well, no better time to start re-collecting footage than today!

At 14:50, on the right... It looks like there is a man or ghostly figure, dressed in a black suit, hanging from a noose or hook on the door. Freaked me OUT.

They didn't buy the weapons. They actually went out of their way to ensure that both boys completed the Court ordered diversion programme they'd been sent on. You want to shake your fist at someone, go wave it at the police. Dylan might not have been a red flag, but they were told Eric was making pipe bombs and death threats. Columbine should never have happened. |

Re: Inside Columbine - With Video Shot From The Fire Department
I lived a mile away from the school when this went down. My ex-wife was a floral designer at the time. She worked on many of the floral arrangements for the funerals. None of the big shops would do the arrangements for Harris or Kleebold. A small shop she worked at on the weekends did the work. She arranged both casket pieces for the killers. She told me she didn't do it for them, she did it for their family. Sad day for all involved. |

Re: Inside Columbine - With Video Shot From The Fire Department
I presume because it was the first shooting of its kind - of that magnitude. Sure, there were school shootings before, but these two came loaded to kill fucking bears in the hallways. There was also probably minimal training for this sort of situation due to it being relatively unheard of. Last, because the school was unprepared, there was no quote-unquote "proper" emergency response - they had to go in with the possibility of an extended situation. When that happens? Superior force FTW! |
