Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
It annoys me that Diane Sawyer gets all the good interviews, yet she is shit at the job. Arrrrgh She was so patronising to Sue Klebold in the ABC interview. It's not her fecking fault for Christ's sake. On a side note... Was good to finally hear her speak. I really do feel for the woman. |

Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
Yes! I totally agree. I'm not American, and I am not familiar with Diane Sawyer. I found her an aggressive and confrontational interviewer. Despite this Sue Klebold did come across as a pleasant lady who's had a rough deal in life. I've not watched the British interview by Kirsty Walke yet, and I'm interested to compare the interviews.

Anyone who blames the parents are morons. These two knew what they were doing. Eric was a fucking psycho and Dylan was a massive depressive. I feel only sympathy for their parents.

Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
i'm halfway through Sue's book now. It is heartbreaking really, to see Columbine and the aftermath through her eyes. You can't blame the parents for this event. I would've liked to have seen her interviewed by Barbara Walters, but anybody but Diane Sawyer to be honest. |

I bought mine on audible so that I could hear Sue actually read it. If anyone knows how to include it in an attachment I will PM it for others to listen to.

Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
I think it falls more on the fact that most school shooters have used these two as a blueprint for their own plans since. Up until Columbine school shootings had also not been covered by the media in such a huge way either. I'm sure there are more factors, but these two left behind so much information on what they were doing that it really gives you a lot of information to search through while wondering why it all happened. |
