Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
I don't think photo 7 is Rachel Scott. Anyone interested in this should check out BasedShaman and CVA/CVS (Columbine Video Archives/Columbine Video Sources). Great videos, they even have footage of them planting the cafeteria bombs. Check it out! |

Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
I'm not fond of Cullen's book. He's kind of a pompous ass. Brooks Brown who was friends with Dylan and knew Eric (they had beef) wrote a book called "No Easy Answers", I've read it like 5 times. Even though Brooks kind of turned into a weirdo, i think his book has more substance and really goes into what it was like to be a student (an "unpopular" one at that) at Columbine. Eric and Dylan created this massacre, but Columbine created eric and Dylan.

Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
CVA and BasedShaman are incredible. I love their content. And although Shaman has kind of gone downhill recently (focusing more on TCAP and Chris-chan), I still enjoy his older stuff and sometimes his newer stuff. ALSO TO ADD ONTO THE DISCUSSION: I read A Mother's Reckoning (written by Dylan Klebold's mother, Sue Klebold), and it was an incredibly heartbreaking read. It really puts you in her shoes. If I ever have children, I'd kill myself if they did something like this. She's an incredibly strong lady. I also read Brooks Brown's book and it really made me feel as though I were a student at Columbine. The atmosphere and bullying there would've been so toxic; it kinda makes you see why Dylan and Eric did what they did. I don't condone it, but I can see why they wanted to do it. |

Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
Eric and Dylan went through their time at Columbine having literal cups of human shit thrown at them, bullied horrendously and the school did absolutely nothing to even try and help them. I don't condone it, but I understand completely why they would snap.

Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
I remember when it happened...I was 15. I remember the attitude at school the next day was nonchalant, like “What’s the death toll at now?”. If it worried or concerned anyone, I didn’t know. Brooks Brown did a Reddit AMA back 7 years ago. https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/commen...s_brown_i_was/ Seemed like a decent guy, don’t know why some here called him “weird”. What one considers “weird” or “normal” is subjective anyway. I think after Columbine, there was a lot of finger-pointing, people trying to make sense of a complicated situation-as people often do. I don’t think any one thing or person was to blame. People want easy answers to complex problems, and after tragedies like Columbine, lots of those are shopped out. People will try to rationalize this often indifferent, cruel universe, but the best we can do for now is to learn from what happened, and *try* to put those lessons into practice in the future. |

Re: Columbine Victim's Death & Crime Scene Pictures
Much-maligned rock star Marilyn Manson was asked in the movie Bowling for Columbine what he’d say to the Columbine survivors: “I wouldn’t say a single word to them, I’d listen to what they have to say-and that’s what no one did.” |
