Re: 9/11 Sculpture Depicts Jumper at Moment of Impact

Just as well, anyways. I thought the piece was unrealistic anyway. A more accurate sculptural depiction of the moment-of-impact would probably look more like this.

Yeah, unfortunately for them I would have to agree that your depiction of a World Trade jumper's "Moment Of Impact". Would be much closer to the truth than the sculptors depiction. I still remember watching them jump that day on TV, thinking, "what the fuck, can't they get a chopper up there to try to help them or something". Then came the 2nd plane and the world changed forever, in a very dark and very negative way. (( I Still Want Those Bin-Laden Pictures Obama You Prick!! We Were All Attacked That Day!! Ever Since Then Every Time I Go To The Airport I Got Some Fat Ugly Hispanic Women Grabbing By Balls!! I Want To See That Justice Was Done Too Obama You Fucking Jack-Off!! ( You Know, Justice Like, -> Osama Bin-Laden ) RELEASE THOSE PHOTOS ASSHOLE!! )) <- Sorry, I ugh, I just had to say that for some reason.

"We don't have to spike the football" Obama says. What a fucking dick!

Wow. Stunning sculpture but...yeah just no. I could totally see it in a gallery or something, but not as a 9/11 memorial.

Re: 9/11 Sculpture Depicts Jumper at Moment of Impact

I HATE this so called piece of "art". It's highly offensive. If something like this must be created by the artist than why not a bronze casting of Osama bin ladin's dead body?

"Pour taste", now that sounds like a great tagline for some high-end booze. ;)

And you're damn-straight it's not a Rodin. That was one of my favorite things to visit when I worked in downtown Philly. We worked just north of Old City Hall. So on the way, we could sit down at Logan Square with whatever lunch we bagged from street vendors along the way to the Rodin Musem. I particularly enjoyed seeing 'The Gates of Hell'. Beautiful piece of art, it is.

I like the countryside, but there's a part of me that misses the Philly area, particularly the food and the pulse that a major city has.
