Re: DR's Official MMA Thread Pt. 2

Weidman out, Bisping - Rockhold for the MW title. Micheal Bisping opens up as a massive dog at +600. So anyone gonna get crazy and lay some paper on the underdog?
I bet you wish you did now, lol

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread Pt. 2

Rockhold fought like he got called-in on his day off and didn't wanna be there.

Cruz just keeps getting better, he picked Faber apart.

Faber was in there afraid to throw a punch and looked lost.
Yah the only two I was really rooting for was Faber and Bisping. Faber was just outclassed, Cruz's movement was ridiculous... Happy for Bisping, he is a bamf. Hope he can defend that belt though.

I wonder how soon Weidman will be back...?

..another match with Silva perhaps??
You KNOW he'd like to hold the strap one more time/retire as the champ.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread Pt. 2

Ufc 200 needs a legit heavyweight fight as the main.
Brock Lesnar is back.

Brock Lesnar remains under contract to WWE, however, he has been granted a one-off opportunity to compete at UFC 200. Following this milestone event on July 9, Brock will return to WWE for SummerSlam on Sunday, August 21, live on WWE Network.
Thank Vince Mcmahon for being so kind. Now it's time to sign Fedor Emelianenko.

I just had a chance to re-watch the fight. Rockhold seemed to show no respect, fighting with his hands down and that's when old pillow fists hit a homerun to right field. Bisping my not be the most talented fighter in the roster, but the dude has heart, always trains hard and always comes to fight in great shape. Certainly not the type of fighter to take lightly.

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread Pt. 2

..and fuckin' swung for the fences!

That was a helluva knock-out - props to Bisping.
And Rockhold gets added to the list of upsets, fighters you think are going to be dominant and have a long reign.

Yeah, UFC 200 was looking less-than-stellar without GSP or McGregor or Ronda/Holly rematch...or Anderson Silva VS literally anyone...Jones was looking pretty unimpressive in his last fight, that combined with all his outside-the-octagon tomfoolery has cost him his drawing power.
Brock Lesnar is back.
Bringing back the largest pre-Conor draw is their Hail Mary.

I would expect something like a Mir or Overeem rematch; but the only apparent opponents on the current UFC roster are Mark Hunt and JDS - everyone else has a fight lined-up for the near future or are on medical suspension.

Maybe they'll pull Fedor outta their hats...would be truly EPIC.

I think he should re-match Weidman before a rematch with Bisping -- that's the fight people wanna see.

Bisping should take on Silva or the Alligator in the meantime.
