Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
The fight will happen eventually, Diaz will have to take a fight or two before he gets to GSP just like Chael did when he came off suspension and got the Silva rematch. It's gonna happen, they don't like each other and people aren't gonna stop asking for it. So until then... War Lil Diaz!!!!!!!! |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
I never said that Nick deserved a shot before Hendricks? Nick HAS to fight someone before getting a shot. I was just stating that if you are not interested in seeing Diaz fight GSP you have too be a total moron, Diaz is one of the most exciting elite fighters in the world... He has a great guard game and excellent stand up, GSP has fantastic take downs and an excellent top game. It would be an epic fight, who doesn't want to see that? It seems like you are fishing for ways too get at me since I called you out for saying Anderson Silva would be bigger then Muhammad Ali (which is one of the stupidest things I have ever read), since every post you have made since then has been about Diaz. |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Few questions for you guys... Would you rather see Jones V Silva OR Jones V GSP? What weight do you guys think GSP V Silva should be at? Who do you think would be a good first fight for SF guys... Gergard Mousasi Luke Rockhold Jacare Roger Gracie Marquardt Tyron Woodley Gilbert Melendez Josh Thomas Jorge Masvidal Ryan Couture |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
We both know only one guy is moving forward and the next guy getting put on this ass. You are aware that Diaz was been fed hand picked opponents for the past 5 fucking years or so? Nate on the other hand has actually had to work for his title shot. |

Re: DR's Official MMA Thread
Cesar Gracie brought both Nick and Nathan up since they were pups, he knows their style and what motivates them better than anyone else. Gracie blackbelts don't come easy, so he's also made them both top self submission fighters. Then you have Richard Perez, their boxing coach, who has his stand up to the point where really good strikers get battered and look like fools when they stand with him. Then there is Nick, who is always in ear and teaching him and pushing him and doing triathlons and keeping his cardio right. I also tend to think he's learned a thing or two from being able to watch Nick and the mistakes he's made along the way since Nate hasn't made the same mistakes in his career. So I guess that would leave wrestling as what he would gain most from moving to Tri Star. His wrestling is mediocre at best so it does need a lot work but he would be better off bringing good wrestlers to the Gracie camp than he would be moving to Tri star. |
