Bellator / Viacom is big. Hopefully Viacom goes all in and they're willing to pay big for good fighters, it'll be good for the sport. I like the Bellator tournament setup and they already have some good fighters on their roster so it should be interesting. I bet Dana's already glad he signed Hendo when he did.

Yeah for sure, I really can't see anyone being a legitimate threat to the UFC since they brought pride but a bit of competition is good. Wish UFC could sign Hector Lombard though, would love to see that dude fighting the best.

Lombard is a monster, seriously. I wanted Marquardt to go to Bellator so Lombard could whip his ass like he was a rented mule and then Dana would have no choice but to sign Lombard. But Marquardt made the smart career move and signed with bamma, so instead we get Lombard vs Trevor Prangely. Yuck.

Yeah I heard he wants out of Bellator but they got him locked under contract or something, not sure.

There is a few Bellator dudes I would like to see tested against better competition. I wonder if Bellator didn't want Nate because of the steroid (TRT) thing.

Marquardt chose BAMMA after Lombard and Askren called him out. I think that the right move for him, Lombard would have beat the piss out of him, just my humble opinion. That's last thing Marquardt needs at this point.

Yeah I was aware Lombard really wanted him, just didn't think he would of turned down the fight. Who knows though now they have the backing of a bigger media outlet (Viacom, Fremantle Media) hopefully these guys get some good competition, 2012 is shaping up to be interesting thats for sure!

Awesome card, can't wait for some of those match ups should be a lot of fun actually getting floor seats that's awesome! I have a massive grind show the night before so we are pulling an all nighter and buying the PPV at a mates, no sleep and lots of beer will be on the menu for that night. Who you got for Jones V Machida? I think Jones will run through Machida like he did every other opponent, but you never know.

I wish they would announce Silva V Sonnen II, the longer we wait the more I believe Silva really does not want this fight.

These rankings are generated by an algorithm that processes fight-metric data. Meaning, it also takes into account quality of wins (takes into account significant strikes/strikes/TDs/guard passes within fights - and not just W/L).

These numbers don't lie. There is George St. Pierre and then there is everyone else in his division.
