Re: The Lynching of Jesse Washington
NOT ONE person to speak for him. NOT ONE. We ALL know he most likely did not commit any crime, but was convenient as a scape goat since he was teenaged, and black. Makes me sick to my stomach to think of the fear and pain this BOY was made to suffer. |

Re: The Lynching of Jesse Washington
He didn't rape or murder anyone. He was a scapegoat for a white person to avoid justice. The fuckers aways used blacks as scapegoats and alway came up with bullshit reasons just to hurry and lynch a black person.

Re: The Lynching of Jesse Washington
There's an old book I read when I was younger called "100 years of lynchings". Its nothing but reprints of newspaper articles describing lynchings over the years. Some of the things described would put modern savages to shame. |

Re: The Lynching of Jesse Washington
I often read stupid comments by some narrow minded people in the Faces of Death Pictures/Video...and what comes across is very amusing. The utter disdain and a holier-than-thou superiority complex some exibit. They seem to suggest the non-white/ non-British/ non-American and non-"civilised" people do this. |

Re: The Lynching of Jesse Washington
Savage nature is in all of us regardless of our garb...EVEN in today's "tolerant" societies ...there is a foundation that we all share. When our freedoms are threatened and fear is underpinned by democracy..everyone has the potential to rise up to the very nature we are born with.
