Have you ever stabbed a man? It isn't so straightforward, especially when he looks at you and begs for his life, grovels for pity, tells you he has children etc.

It doesn't matter what language he uses, because you still know exactly what he is saying.

A gun is easy, but a knife or bayonet is far more personal.
