The Horror of the Electric Chair
Images from the Medical Examiner released after the states execution of Aubrey Dennis Adams Jr in 1989 show the horrific desecration of his body during the May 4th electrocution death. Only 20 and employed as a State Prison Guard when his crime was committed, as he enter the death chamber he declared he forgave those who had anything against him and he can rest knowing he will be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven. |

Re: The Horror of the Electric Chair
I am not endorsing capital punishment per se, but am just stating the obvious, that their crimes are far more horrific than their quick demise!

Re: The Horror of the Electric Chair
Aubrey received a Christian burial with a flowered grave. His victim Trisa Thornley , a neighbor also was able to receive a respectful burial. Rest in Peace · · |

Re: The Horror of the Electric Chair
Much like the hangings of the 19th century, modern executions bring both pro death and anti murder supporters to the execution. The Thornley family stated they wished the young Aubrey had been put to death years earlier. Anti death penalty supporters repeated God's commandant "Shall not kill" On the 4th of May 1989, the Thornley family got its wishes as Aubrey was electrocuted after requests for a life sentence with 25 year parole was denied No winners here |

Re: The Horror of the Electric Chair
Death for Aubrey was torture as the electricity does its deadly duty. Disfigured as his head and lower right calf are shaved with electrode gel's applied A lethal application of electricity will heat his dying body to over 200 degrees 2300 volts 9.5 amps for 8 seconds 1000 volts 4.0 amps for 22 seconds 2300 volts 9.5 amps for 8 seconds Many states require the victims butt plugged and he/she forced to wear a diaper. Aubrey had just turned 20 when the crime was committed. He was 31 when the state took his life |
