Attempt Vehicular Homicide on armed police anywhere in the world.

You're very likely to be shot to death.

And rightly so.

Re: Walmart Shoplifter Shot Dead by Security Guard/cop

Could the officer handle the situation differently? Perhaps. We don't have the surveillance video to actually see what's going on. Could this situation be prevented had she kept her dirty fucking thief hands to herself? Yesir.

Traffic accidents are the number one cause of on duty deaths for police officers. It's not wild shootouts, it's situations like this that has killed more cops in the line of duty than anything else.

Re: Walmart Shoplifter Shot Dead by Security Guard/cop

My personal experiences have caused me to destain a majority of law enforcement officers and I usually side with civilians; not this time.

She was confronted by someone in authority. She failed to follow his directions and well ....I guess she doesn't need to worry about returning any of the gifts she likely would have been displeased with for Christmas. Arrogant bitch.

"minor shoplifting"? There's no such thing, the epic proportions of the crime has risen so high it's staggering. Maybe the next time her girlfriends want to head for for some freebies they'll think twice and do us all a favor. If there were more deaths maybe we all wouldn't have to pay so much for added security measures.

Re: Walmart Shoplifter Shot Dead by Security Guard/cop

Overreaction by the "cop"....big time overreaction that should cost with his career and more. He obviously needed further training. Of course if your a dumb hillbilly your gonna be on the "cops" side for this bullshit. Attempted vehicular homocide u say...total crap. She fled, he chased, she drove off, she had no intention of running his dumbass over. The only reason you pull out a gun is if your life is in iminent danger. He chased and prob held onto vehicle as it fled. He put his dumbass in that situation, and he fired into the vehicle to stop it...thus killing unjustifiably. You don't jump onto a vehicle in pursuit on foot and try to call that an imminent threat to your life. You created that shit. "cop" needs to be charged for this.

Of course she was black....killed in front of her kids. "cop" held the car door open to stop her and she proceeded to drive anyway. That's when he fired and shot her in the neck.
Only in the south ugh. Cunt "cop" needs to be behind bars.

Re: Walmart Shoplifter Shot Dead by Security Guard/cop

oh, give me a break....manslaughter at most...she was trying to evade somebody she thought was security guard, not a cop. she didnt aim her car toward him and try to run him down for no reason....he got into her car. his bad....if he didnt want to be in danger, he should have not put himself in it in the first place. if a LEO puts themselves into unnecessary danger and they end up killing somebody because of their lack of judgement, they are at fault.

i come from a family of cops....my grandfather was a cop, my father in law is a cop, uncles are cops....i can guarantee none of them would approve of seeing a LEO discharge a firearm in a public place under these conditions. had he been in uniform, presented his badge and made himself known as a LEO then he would have been in the right....but because he was off duty and was not under exigent circumstances to make an arrest (nor in danger other then what he unnecessarily put himself into) he should have shown restraint.
Technically, she put herself in danger by stealing in the first place. Of course he shouldn't have shot her; but in the moment, I probably would have shot too. Quick thinking is different than thinking in general. He was going off instinct as a security guard to apprehend, pursue, and react. In the end it was fight or flight.

Re: Walmart Shoplifter Shot Dead by Security Guard/cop

My goodness!

I didn't know the guards at Walmart were packing heat! I go there so rarely.

Security Guards and Policemen and women are paid to protect us. They cannot wait to see if there is a weapon or to figure out their intentions. People only run if they are guilty.

She did hit him with her purse, making it an assault. Spitting on someone is also considered assault. Just thought I'd throw that in.

The woman didn't stop, the policeman reacted. Her fault!

I would bet he didn't think he'd kill her. Lucky shot!

Too bad the cop didn't die as well. Would have been a swell day.

People just don't value life. Seriously, was it worth taking a life over Walmart products? Come on!
