The school cleaner accused of murdering Leeton teacher Stephanie Scott was reportedly a violent schoolboy who attacked a teacher when he was nine.

Vincent Stanford, now 24, was raised in the Dutch city of Zoetermeer and attended Prins Florisschool with his twin brother Marcus.

Stephanie Scott is believed to have been murdered on Easter Sunday.

As a young student, Mr Stanford would "fly into rages sometimes" and had problems managing his aggression, an unidentified former school friend told the Daily Mail Australia.

The director of Prins Florisschool, Annette Mulder, confirmed that Mr Stanford had been involved in "an aggressive incident" when he was around nine-years-old.

Residents in Zoetermeer said Mr Stanford's unkempt appearance was often noticed by neighbours and he was expelled for aggressive behaviour towards teachers when he was young, a local news outlet, Zoetermeer Actief, reported.

Also, I don't think this was mentioned in the initial post, but this guy took photos of the body after he burned her, and police found those pics on either his phone or camera (the sources differ). Possible that he intended to post said pics here but didn't get to.
