I hate anybody that hits their child. They should not have had children if they dont know how to properly raise them. Yes, when you hit a child you are putting a stop to that childs behavior in the moment. You are also sending the message that violence is a reasonable and acceptable means of settling a dispute. Why should anybody use their words to settle a dispute then when the perfect arbiter is dominance? Learn to teach a child that what they are doing is wrong and explain to them why what theyre doing is wrong. If you strike a defenseless child, I hope somebody puts you through a window. Makes me sick. |

I won't even slap a child in my care! What I think is nothing might hurt them more than one may think. I cannot stand to see children being yelled at like they are adults or pulled around worse than some treat animals! They make me cringe! |
