That's a great point. There probably wouldn't be a S. Korea if we didn't stay and support their military.

I don't remember Bush giving a time table in Iraq. I remember the opposite, him refusing to give a time table and being criticized for not doing so. He's on tape stating leaving before the situation on the ground is capable would be a disaster. And he was right.

But yet what i said was absolutely correct. No votes did shutdown the government.

And you can blame whoever you want. It doesn't matter. Two sides shut the government down because they couldn't agree. And we have a President who isn't a leader. Obama rather shutdown the government than negotiate or give any concessions. Obama care is a abomination. And the best parts haven't even kicked in yet.

Well being as Obama personally made certain Iraq would fail I don't put that on Bush. Obama should have done everything he could to make it succeed, but we all know he did not.

Iraq could of proven vital in current and upcoming middle eastern conflicts. Such as Syria and Iran.

Saying it wasn't Republicans that caused the shutdown, is on the same lines of denial as Holocaust deniers. Republicans, threatened to, actually did, then tried to deny and shift blame. Not giving into terrorist threats, doesn't mean you caused the terrorism. Look up cause and effect if that evades you.
