Re: *UPDATE* Waitress Denied Tip for 'Gay Lifestyle' Gets Flood of Support
You sound like an awesome customer. As for the less altruistic individuals- as the old saying goes 'friends don't let friends stiff people who handle their food' I don't think people appreciate just how easy it is to 'accidentally' kill or poison someone in the restaurant business. When you go out to eat you are literally putting your health and safety into the hands of strangers. Try not to piss them off. |

Agree!! Also, never piss off your flight attendant. A couple drops of Murine in your drink and you will be in the head for the duration of your flight.

Re: *UPDATE* Waitress Denied Tip for 'Gay Lifestyle' Gets Flood of Support
I'm going to call bullshit on that one.^ It would be too risky, you never know who is allergic or sensitive to what. Murine has a decongestant in it that is contraindicated for use in those who are taking Furazolidone, MAOI antidepressants, and those who have narrow angle glaucoma. No matter how much you piss off your flight attendant, I doubt his/her job is worth losing on your account. Doesn't mean he/she won't spit in your food though. |

Re: *UPDATE* Waitress Denied Tip for 'Gay Lifestyle' Gets Flood of Support
if you feel that way, you should be donating a ton of money to your local hospitals, police stations and fire departments... because it's way easier (as an example) for a cop to beat a person's ass and get away with it than it is for a waitress to poison a customer and get away with it, but we dont feel the compulsion to tip every cop that we see writing a ticket...why should we have to pay extra to get people to do their fuckin jobs? the only people i ever tip are people like deckhands on a fishing boat... why them? because they dont get paid daily and literally make nothing but tips. waitresses get paid hourly to deal with the public, the same as anybody else in retail does... but we dont tip every person we see working in retail just so they dont attack us. why would we make an exception for people in the food handling industry? if a person feels the need to cause harm to those who lack the 'aulturistic compulsion' to tip them for doing a job they are already getting paid for, then that person is a dangerous person and shouldnt be interacting with the public at all. |
