Re: *UPDATE* Missing Organs Fuel Outcry Over Teen's Wrestling Mat Death
Was there another pair of shoes in the mat? Because they said their theory was that he fell in head first while trying to retrieve shoes, but in the picture the shoes are on top. The other shoes look like they were sitting on the floor, not in the mat. |

Re: *UPDATE* Missing Organs Fuel Outcry Over Teen's Wrestling Mat Death
People forget their dead body etiquette When I read the article, I took it to mean the organs were missing when they found the body in the mat. I don't get the thinking, if it had been an accident, why someone would roll the guy up in a mat instead of reporting it as an accident. |

Re: *UPDATE* Missing Organs Fuel Outcry Over Teen's Wrestling Mat Death
I *think* they decided that the kid's shoes were on the floor, in the rolled up mat, and that he reached in to retrieve the shoes, fell in, and he couldn't breathe because of the fact that he was in the rolled up mat. It just doesn't seem right to me. |

Re: *UPDATE* Missing Organs Fuel Outcry Over Teen's Wrestling Mat Death
I haven't yet found a real explanation for the white shoes in there with him. I also find it odd that the funeral home would use newspaper in this kid, even if that's something they do (awful), they should know this is a VERY controversial case and someone was going to order a 2nd autopsy. The 2nd autopsy showed a "traumatic wound" at his neck - so again doesn't add up to suffocating inside this mat.

Re: *UPDATE* Missing Organs Fuel Outcry Over Teen's Wrestling Mat Death
The parents are making as big a fuss as they can about his death and the organs being removed so as to maximize any possible settlement. It's just about money at this point. Sorry about his death, but kids do stupid things. Unfortunately, sometimes with tragic consequences. |
