there is a time and a place for criticism but come on man. A earthquake then a hurricane is the catholic churches fault? (before you reply I know the point you were trying to make) some would blame the US funded/aided suppresion of the NPA for for the poverty and inequality (not me) but again there is a time and a place.

however the answer to the question is probably a lot. The catholic church near me has raised 6k so far (about $10k) in comparison they raise about 200 for themselves per week
