(Newser) – For Felicia Garcia, an oncoming train was better than another day of bullying. The long-troubled girl—a chronic runaway who lived with foster parents—jumped to her death at a packed train station on Staten Island this week because she was bullied, police say.

"Kids are saying she had sex with some guys from the football team at a party after the game," a friend of 15-year-old Felicia Garcia tells the Daily News. "Later on they wouldn't leave her alone about it. They just kept bullying her and bullying her."

Felicia had a mediation session Wednesday with a counselor and a 17-year-old boy who allegedly bullied her—but he denied doing anything. Afterwards, at the station, she just fell backwards in front of an oncoming train. "Just before she fell, she said, ‘Finally, it’s here,'" said a classmate. “It was the most horrible thing I've ever seen.”

Now the tragedy has sparked a battle between students and Tottenville High School's football team, with protesters cursing the team and one player responding with an angry tweet: “EVERBODY WHO IS BLAMING THE FOOTBALL PLAYERS S— & MIND YOUR BUISNESS !!” *(Can't even spell business!)*

Most, if not all of your friends will abandon you when shit like this happens. I said most, not all remember so dont have a fit over this.


I bet she did do something so petty that if she was older it wouldnt really matter because nobody would care.

Hate that. I gave oral sex to my first bf at 15 and it was hell living through people bullying about it. Never dated anyone in high school after that nor even touched no guy that lived within 2 hours of where I lived. People are jerks.

I lucked out. Other than high school, most of my boyfriends haven't been that close to where I live :)

People do suck! I found out in my early 20's or so, what people don't know they make up! Sad for them really! I don't give a shit about who is doing what with whom!
