I keep reading about these actors saying "Hollywood has no balls".

For fuck sakes - WHAT ever gave them the idea that Hollywood EVER had any balls? It's just not that kind of institution.

North Korea says it can prove it is not behind the massive Sony Pictures cyberattack that has led to several e-mail leaks, threats on movie theaters and the cancellation of the release of the movie “The Interview.”

The country has also said it proposes a joint investigation with the U.S. on the attack and if the U.S. does not agree, North Korea warns of “grave consequences,” state media says.

Sony is in business to make money.

The potential liabilities outweighed the potential profits, so they pulled the plug.

Without a doubt they understood that North Korea might have an extremely bad reaction to the plot. They have a long history of irrational behaviour.

They probably figured that the publicity would help at the gates.

So it bit them in the ass, I could care less. It's sony's problem.
