Exactly, ChristySD. These men and women were protecting the protester's 1st amendment rights and then targeted by assholes who (probably) wanted to make a political statement. I'm disgusted & appalled by all of this. As of 00:34, they are in "negotiations" with one of the suspects, however he's continuing to exchange fire and is not being cooperative (shocker!) I'm watching the news conference and the Chief has said the suspect plans to kill more officers, the "end is near" and is claiming there are bombs all over the place. DPD says they have three people of interest in custody (including a woman) and one pinned down - none are being cooperative. Total number of LEO killed is four. |
