What do you mean by your second sentence? Do you think she was possibly murdered while in custody? I think she probably killed herself. I am also 99% sure that douche-bag cop had no reason to ask her to put out her cigarette; he knew it would escalate the situation. He had an obligation to defuse the situation, not ramp it up. I think he got a hard-on to arrest her at that point, either then, or when he fucking dragged her out of the car. And now she's dead so we'll never hear Ms. Bland's side of the story. There have been demos in the States already over this, yea sure the cop didn't follow procedure but some people are actually suggesting that the arresting officer somehow killed her. The most likely scenario is she killed herself. Her family can shut up too saying she wouldn't commit suicide, people keep those sorts of feelings to themselves on the whole, and it only comes to light once it's too late.

I haven't decided yet. The depression news about her came to light today. I was 50/50 towards "died" in custody (cops roughed her up, epilepsy, etc) and made it look like suicide. But with this depression and previous attempts at suicide, that's swaying me the other way. Ans regarding the last sentence, if she took the warning, she could have kept smoking her cigarette and moved along with her day. |

I really don't believe that she killed herself. What was the trashbag doing in her cell? That cop was bound and determined to be pissed off about something and was a real son of a bitch to her. I'm glad that she was narrating what was going on off camera and that she gave that motherfucker piece of mind. Very anxious to see where this case goes. |

She should've been on suicide watch. Which would have taken the trash bag or anything else out of her cell that she could have hurt herself with. tmi... That's what should have happened with her. They at the very least, in my opinion, didn't give a shit. |
