Russian Ambassador to Turkey Assassinated
Just to get the ball rolling. Will add video in a second. A gunman has shot dead Russia's ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov, apparently in protest at Russia's involvement in the Syrian conflict. Several other people were reportedly also injured in the attack, a day after protests in Turkey over Russia's military intervention in Syria. According to Russian TV, the ambassador had been attending an exhibition called "Russia as seen by Turks". Police later "neutralised" the gunman, reports say, without giving details. Mr Karlov was rushed to hospital, reports said, but his death was later confirmed by the Russian foreign ministry.  · |

12/19/16 Breaking news out of Turkey that the Russian Ambassador to Turkey Neergeschoten has been killed in a hail of gunfire by an assassin screaming various things including snackbars. Well looks like it was just 3 minutes after the other post on this topic. I have no way of deleting the post, I don't think. Either way we were both making out post at the exact same time and I had no idea that other one was happening, it's a few minutes difference. If mods wish to take this one down that's fine, though I do suggest adding those pics in this one to the other post.

It's a 3 min difference and I had no idea the other one was being made, I was in the process of making mine when this one was posted. Whatever the mods do is fine with me, and my bad OP I wasn't trying to repost. I don't care if my post gets taken down or not, just didn't see anything on the site yet. Here are a few pics I found.

This was NOT not an ordinary incident of its business, I can't foresee the reaction of Russians, but i don't think they'll be very happy with it.
