Re: Pitt Bull, Rottweiler Ban in Louisiana
How is your data accurate if it lists states that ban pitbulls that don't actually ban pitbulls? You can go ahead and read the stats of that Infographic I already did post smart guy. After the other pitbull thread, this seems like an attempt to troll.. |

Re: Pitt Bull, Rottweiler Ban in Louisiana
Your data shows that you're more likely to be killed by a Chow. Beware of the curly tailed dog. Lets get real here. This is the data that backs up Pitbull and Rottweiler bans across the states and around the world. Pitbulls account for 60% of total dog bite fatalities despite making up a minority of the dog population. |

Re: Pitt Bull, Rottweiler Ban in Louisiana
You realize there are still people that train their pits for dog fighting and just discard them on the streets after.. But they are all killers from birth, I forgot!

Re: Pitt Bull, Rottweiler Ban in Louisiana
I have a 3 year old pit bull and his best friend is my 8 month old chihuahua, she chases him all around our fenced in backyard. Its not the dog that makes the problem, its how they are raised. I can trust my dog with my 6 year old daughter alone, he will do nothing but snuggle up beside her on the couch. |

Re: Pitt Bull, Rottweiler Ban in Louisiana
It's an interesting subject If you believe that certain breeds are predisposed to violent behaviour, then I don't know how you could be against licensing and mandatory training to own such a breed. IMHO banning a breed is useless, just a public relations stunt done by politicians for political reasons. Ontario banned pits, which is silly in the sense that most are not pure bred and defining a pit is near impossible........ Then bring in the issue that a million other fighting dogs are still legal, some of which are arguably more dangerous. Hell, just look on kijiji and there's all kinds of pressa's for sale....... Neapolitan mastiff, perfectly legal |
