Re: New Monkey Head Transplant
Just anther asshole scientist who wants to play God. This does no benefit anyone in anyway. It is like a little kid playing with a Meccano set and seeing what they can make and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.It is a crap shoot every time and to use living creatures just 'to see what might work' is horrible. |

Re: New Monkey Head Transplant
you likely already know this, buuut..... ....they did similar with with a dog head long ago....russians did. they did an 'isolation head transplant' where they removed a dog's head and kept it alive for some time via machines. ![]() that was done by Dr Vladimir Demikhov in the 40's and 50's. he then successfully attached a dog head to another living dog. ![]() the first time a doctor grafted "one dog's head onto the side of another's neck" was in 1908 by Charles Claude Guthrie. fucked up shit, i know. |

Re: New Monkey Head Transplant
I really hate those dogs pictures. I remember seeing them years ago. Some of the first "gory" photos I saw, and they sickened me. Before then I was blind to the realities of this evil world.

Re: New Monkey Head Transplant
sorry...they werent meant to be insulting or offensive in anyway. they also werent meant to be illustrations of animal abuse but, rather, illustrations of medical experiments that are similar to the OP's article. i agree, they are fucked up and the first time i saw it, i was filled with horror as well. i just wanted to make it clear, however, that i didnt post those pictures here to be shocking, edgy or offensive. it was done merely to illustrate that these kinds of procedures have been done for years. |
