probably a psychopath and he knew he was different and no body got him. others knew he was different too and why he was lonely. in the end he wanted out and obviously took his Mum out, thinking he was doing her a favor [+blaming her for bringing him into the world], and then strangers just to show he has no empathy. he probably wasn't aware about psychopathy in the form of anti-social personality disorder but prob was called a psycho by people. basically he was stuck and bored and saw no way out and then other mental conditions took over giving him zero empathy and respect for any life!
