Man Dies After Being Sucked Into Plane Engine
In a horrifying incident, an engineer working on an airplane engine in New Zealand was tragically sucked into the machine, resulting in his untimely demise. Air New Zealand confirmed the man's unfortunate death, stating that he was engaged in maintenance on the Lockheed C-130 Hercules engine during the early hours of Monday. Local television reports identified the victim as Miles Hunter, aged 51. It is worth noting that the engine was not connected to an aircraft but was securely mounted on a stand when the tragic incident unfolded. Rob Fyfe, the Chief Executive of Air New Zealand, expressed his bewilderment regarding the incident, stating to TVNZ News, "We are at a complete loss as to how this happened. It was a very routine procedure with very experienced people involved." Although such gruesome deaths are exceedingly rare, history has recorded similar incidents. Notably, a U.S. Navy serviceman miraculously survived after being sucked into a jet engine on an aircraft carrier in 1991.  · |

Didnt they say that it was his helmet that saved him? Im sure theres a photo of it and its got a huge crack down the centre and has chips all over itl
