Turns out, white dude was a friend of one of the black dudes. Was supposed to just go "hang out" for the night- (people have sleepovers at the age?) and the "friend" lured em into Chicago and met his fate, by trusting someone.

My question, that will remain unanswered obviously, is: what would have happened if he didn't escape? These thugs by day 2, would have had to concluded that they crossed a line of no return?

The poor kid is probably very lucky to be alive.

They threaten his life several times throughout the entire video, going so far as to reference specific acts. The girl who streamed it even tells them at one point, "We can't do that here, online." It might've just been a matter of them not acting on the impulse at first. The fact that Jordan Hill, the perp who was acquainted with the victim, used a van stolen just prior to pick up the victim implies premeditation towards kidnapping/false imprisonment.

The thing that I'm confused about is that the victim was able to escape while the two male suspects were still in the apartment with him. According to reports, he only cut out of there after the two female perps left the apartment to confront a neighbor who had complained to them about the noise they were making (they wound up kicking in the neighbor's door and taking something from that apartment; they're being charged with burglary over it).

Oh, and I found the video where they make him drink out of the toilet. It occurs prior to the one that was streamed and seems to depict the "turning point" when the victim realizes that he's in trouble. Only about 1:40 long though.
