Re: Huge Fire in block of Flats London

It wasn't just Muslim families living there. Poor, and I mean by that NOT wealthy people of all kinds and colours lived there too. The building was cosmetically refurbished so that wealthy people close by didn't have to look at the ugly building.

None of those wealthy residents appear to be helping their poorer neighbours! If the frigging government spent our tax money in this country instead of giving it away to help others these people might not have died...spend money on fire alarms, smoke detectors etc...not refurbished outer layers!

The building is still standing apparently structurally sound.

One good thing is local people of all religions and races are coming out to help.

Re: Huge Fire in block of Flats London

A fire that lasted a couple of hours and the building didn't come crashing down. And the World Trade Center burned for how long?? before it came tumbling straight down like a controlled demolition

Some one explain this one to me

Re: Huge Fire in block of Flats London

was reported 400-600 residents in that building, loss of life is going to be a devastating amount i fear. not sure how true it is but i heard no one on the top 3 floors survived and i fear that if you were floor 17 or above you were a goner.

Some people need to think before they comment, Spastic mouthed doesn't do their comments justice.
