Having been there numerous times for business, Texas is hot, sweaty, and smells like a bold mix of cilantro, cumino, and unwashed ass. Mostly due to the heat, but if you can choke down that fragrance, the people are pretty cool. I'm sure I could come up with similar unfair characterizations of people from Missouri, even though there is a distinct gulf between KC/St. Louis and the rest of the state. (Statement, not a debate entry. So don't bother, as I'm going to bed.) Stereotypes are like tracers, both point both ways.  |
