Perhaps they should really consider something like The Purge. The cops take off a night and the undesirable are weeded out. Whatever the case the media is largely responsible for this and anything else that follows. Cops get paid shit wages to do a shit job. Eventually people who might make a decent cop will not even consider becoming one and you will be stuck with those who should never be cops as being picked as last resort.

I think Unions are somewhat responsible for this. As with most unions, they make getting rid of questionable cops tough. Which is really the only problem I have with police, when a cop does something stupid, they're usually not fired. Because the Unions fight against an officer being dismissed.

I think it was in Ohio. Where a cop got into a bar fight, which is bad enough to possibly fire the officer. But, he also lost his badge and firearm during the fight. The cop never even reported to his superiors that his badge and gun were missing. And it was eventually found out, and the cop was fired. But the Union fought the firing and the cop got his job back.

It's the bears that are somewhat responsible for this. I think the California black bear shares some responsibility for the NYPD 'execution style' killings. Because they make walking in the woods scary. Also I blame those pesky democrats and liberals.
