Its morally wrong because she is still a child.. It sucks, but it is what it is.. Other countries (non-westernized) dont monitor whats going on in the small remote villages and provinces. In these small villages/provinces, families negotiate with one another and pawn off their kids or set up marriages. It sucks, but what can we do. No matter what we do as a society, we should not be shocked when stuff like this happens. Assist the new family as needed and help the mother get her education and livelihood in on order. Im sure other kids that see her in school will see how hard of a life she is having with her newborn child. That hopefully will be one of the good detterent in birth control... |

It can be worse then this though, imo. Been in the news here a 5 year old got caught with chlamydia. Now her dad got arrested, he gave it to her.  |
