Where did I say I cared? My statement is more inline with a fact of: these kids, will just pass time in prison, come out to do the same thing.

If it was up to me, they would see the needle.

And yes, they will eventually get out. Even people with "life without parole" is eligible to get out.

I didn't mention them getting out, you told me idiots believe prison works. I didn't take that as some sort of stab at me as I would have them doing life or dead. Getting out wouldn't be on the cards.

In many debates about prison. The current system is referred to as rehabilitation, not a form of punishment. So of course, when we hand down sentences, they do so with chances of being rehabilitated in mind. So, them being juveniles, there is a good chance the state will impose a sentence where these kids will be free before they hit 30 yrs old.

Thing is, prison camps for people aged Youth-mid 20s range, offer little to no effort in actual rehabilitations. They are generally tossed into general population, and have to volunteer themselves to receive any actual help.
