I bet that image has been saved and distributed among gore sites etc anyway so removing it from Google images wont do much.
If it wasn't known about much before it sure as hell is now which will increase the sharing of the pic.

But why DOES google have to leave it there? Why DON'T they update their maps? It's not as if the satellites are not up there already and able to take fresh pictures. How hard can this be to erase? Google certainly makes enough money off of selling our information to everyone, it's not as if they were poor and could not afford it.

Googles cameras catch all sorts of things that im sure the people involved dont like. photoshop/update/ or stop looking.

I would think that if the family asked to have it removed it wouldn't be a problem. I mean I heard that you can pay to have your house private from Google Maps, in which case they put a giant blur over it. It shouldn't be hard to at least blur small area out.

That was my question. Thank you for answering it!!!! I know homeowners have had their homes removed and didn't understand why they couldn't remove the image of the body.
