My landlord's son is just like this guy, 29, never had to work a day in his life, just drives around in a black Audi that his folks gave him, no concept of reality whatsoever. It's making me paranoid thinking about the similarities...

PARENTING, or a lack thereof, has everything to do with this kids behavior.

Asperger kids, as a whole, are not the monsters the media portrays them to be, based on the actions of a few.

Proper parenting would have made a HUGE difference in the way this kid turned out.

People do what they want to do regardless of what is right or wrong and how they happened to be brought up. This is also not a kid. He is a 22 year old man that suffered from a severe case of douchebaggery.

You cant blame Asperger Syndrome for a persons actions. Asperger Syndrome can get in the way of his ability to forge new relationships with people, but ultimately, the decision to go out and do harm to others rests with the individual.

Yes, Tiffany, I do. I have first hand experience with Aspergers. I get tired of people automatically saying "Oh he had Aspergers" Linking them all together, as if they are all cut from the same cloth.
