Speak for your own country. At least we don't have overcrowded and overburdened facilities. We have just have stupidly lenient sentencing.   You guys sentence people 100 years for murders, etc.  |

I doubt he will get attacked in prison, more apt to be thought of as a hero for killing cops. I noticed your mass shooters seem to go after armed cops "4 cops killed 2005" here they like to shoot children or unarmed civilians. |

TBH if it were my family member, I'd want that number up as high as possible. I don't care that we don't live for 100+ years, I want that fucker to know that even if he did live five lifetimes, he would never know freedom again. I get that countries like Canada and Norway can hold you for a lifetime even if you've only been sentenced to 20 years, but saying you've been sentenced to 286 years - has to feel like one last punch to the gut. |
