The alternative is we kill ISIS. And we make Iraq and Syria pay for it.
Iraq is currently bringing the fight to ISIS, but they will most likely fail. And when they do, they'll have no problem paying us to do it.

The most recent occupation of Iraq was nothing. That occupation was about winning the hearts and minds. It was about appeasing the insane notion that we can put a missile through a small window and only kill intended targets.

When Allied troops occupied a city from the nazis, they could level a entire block if they were shot at. The rules of engagement are far different now, that's why we bogged down in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq.

According to the rumor mill among certain units who served in Iraq, going balls-to-the-wall with 360 degrees of fire in response to even the slightest aggression used to be standard procedure for a lot of the security contractors over there.

At least that's what Buzzell claimed in his book.

They still haven't paid you for what was spent in the initial invasion and occupation. And short of staying there, its a matter of time before someone else poses a threat to them that they're unwilling to deal with.

So what are you going to do, just babysit them from now to eternity?
