Of course they aren't. ISIS is a cancer... we're on the same team, brother.

That Nigerian support for ISIS includes Christians, which have been estimated to have about 5000 members in Boko Haram alone. Things aren't always what they seem, my man. And where are you getting the "no security" from? Inadequate, yes and pretty typical for Pakistan. |

That's me being fair. You actually underestimated support for ISIS in Africa. Always check the polls directly, good sir. http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank...dain-for-isis/ |

Re: Bomb Kills Over 50 in Park a Lahore Pakistan
9% of Pakistanis report a favorable view of ISIS. The "don't know" cannot be counted as supportive, otherwise Christians and Buddhists would be alleged to be supportive. Truthfully, there are more stories about ISIS in the western media than in a large part of the Muslim world. They've got their own problems to deal with. The accounts of the security presence are conflicted in nearly every account. Police, of course, say that it was adequate (which is highly suspect). Eye-witness reports vary from no security to not much security. Either way, it's a shame what happened to them, but Pakistan is Pakistan and we should expect to see more of this. This is at least the 64th (I think) terrorist attack in Pakistan. Just another day for them. |

Your minimizing and parsing hairs . I'm in no way painting a picture that's not accurate . You may not be of the mindset to want internalize the fact that there is a ( small in comparison but large on numbers ) part of the general population of Muslims that support ( openly or not ) Isis and other Islamists of varriying extremes . |

Re: Bomb Kills Over 50 in Park a Lahore Pakistan
Oh I agree with you, but it's certainly regional. The same countries that you see support of ISIS show support from both Christians and Muslims... and no Christian in their right mind would support ISIS, right? But in nations that have seen unending wars, plagues, and poverty you shouldn't be surprised when people are drawn to a group that (although barbaric and monstrous) promise fame and fortune to those that have nothing. I will also say this- notice who isn't included in the poll. No Saudi Arabia. This is the same country that was central to spreading the influence of the ideology, yet they continue to escape accountability. |
