Alabama Senate Nominee Roy Moore Accused of Assault
Speaking of GOP Family Values... A woman says GOP Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore sexually assaulted her when she was 14. Leigh Corfman, now 53, told The Washington Post in an article published Thursday that Moore, then a 32-year-old assistant district attorney, took off her shirt and removed his clothes in the 1979 incident. He touched her over her bra and led the child’s hands to touch him over his underwear, she said. “I wanted it over with — I wanted out,” Corfman told the paper. “Please just get this over with. Whatever this is, just get it over.” Three other women said Moore also made sexual advances to them when they were teenagers around the same time, according to the newspaper. Wendy Miller said she was working as a Santa’s helper at a mall when she was 14 when Moore first approached her. By the time she was 16, Moore was allegedly asking her out on dates. The age of consent was and continues to be 16 in Alabama. Moore, in a written statement to the Post, denied doing anything inappropriate. “These allegations are completely false and are a desperate political attack by the National Democrat Party and the Washington Post on this campaign,” Moore said. In the past, Moore has blasted same-sex marriage, referred to Islam as a “false religion,” and said the Sept. 11 terror attacks were punishment for the United States’ godlessness. A special election for the U.S. Senate seat in Alabama vacated by now-Attorney General Jeff Sessions takes place Dec. 12. Moore is up against Democrat Doug Jones. https://www.washingtonpost.com/inves...=.dc3afe23dff0 |

Re: Alabama Senate Nominee Roy Moore Accused of Assault
Yeah, some of the defenses would be laughable if they weren't so pathetic. The real truth is that the Alabama Republicans don't give two shits about who represents them in politics as long as they claim to be Christian and Republican. For them, it's all about ideology, character doesn't mean shit. Their corruption is breathtaking: Alabama’s governor, Robert Bentley’s resigned in April of this year to avoid impeachment over the misuse of state funds and other misconduct in the attempt to conceal an affair with Rebekah Caldwell Mason. Former House Speaker Mike Hubbard was automatically removed from office after he was convicted on charges of misusing his office for personal gain, as well as seeking monetary gifts from registered lobbyists. Reporter Bill Britt of the Alabama Political Reporter website: “Mike Hubbard has been the overlord of an orgy of greed and corruption like we have never seen… . He is the Caligula of Alabama. Just a tyrant, and a mean and perverse guy.” Hubbard was sentenced to four years in prison plus eight years of probation on 12 charges, and he was fined $210,000. In 1993, Gov. Guy Hunt was convicted of transferring campaign andinaugural funds for personal use, including $200,000 in inaugural money that was used to buy marble showers, among other items. But Moore takes the cake...As judge, Roy Moore was removed from office in 2003 not as the result of criminal charges, but in defiance of the Establishment Clause, managed with dollars from all state taxpayers, with the specific purpose and effect of establishing a permanent recognition of the 'sovereignty of God,' the Judeo-Christian God, over all citizens in this country. He is the only known state elected official in Alabama history to be removed from his office, then be elected again for that same office, and then be removed yet again under different charges. In 2016 he was tossed out of office by the Court of the Judiciary for defying a federal injunction against his prohibition against issuing licenses for same-sex marriages. Yet after all of this, the yokels and rednecks would still likely vote for him for Senator even with charges of initiating a sexual encounter with young teen girls including a girl when she was 14 years and he was 32. I mean, what's the big deal If this pedophile actually gets elected, it'll be a real boat anchor around the neck of the Republicans in 2018...the Democrats will slam the GOP with this like a sledgehammer. Let's see if anyone really cares. |

Yea, at first I thought the same thing, but not anymore. This fucker is not fit to represent anyone, and should be out of the campaign. Show of hands - how may would remember if you had a 17 year old honey when you were in your 30's? I think that is something you would definitely remember. https://www.washingtonpost.com/power...=.fe247b5b1cb8 And for all the self righteous democrats out there who "obey the laws and never do anything wrong". For the record, at 14:55 the officer tries to explain that he is giving here a lessor ticket - cutting her a break, but at 17:00 she threatens him saying it is not the correct charge, so he goes back to his car and issues her the CORRECT ticket for the actual offense. The overall point here, WHY are we allowing people who are morally and mentally defective represent us? |

So, you believe Hitlary, Schumer, McConnell, Soros, Deep State, Obammy and RINO types. Ok. Have it your way. It's so 'clear cut' that it's only brought up 30 days prior to the culmination of his campaign? After 40 years? They tried this same exact thing with Trump and it's been tried many times with others over the years. Not buying it. Any selfies of him in his boxers while holding his infant son? Any transfers of large amounts of US uranium to a supposedly 'enemy' state? Any large bribes sent to a phony 'charity' used as a personal slush fund? Any selling out to an Intelligence Police state? |

Re: Alabama Senate Nominee Roy Moore Accused of Assault
Lol, it's not about Hillary. In fact, the entire pointing to Hillary defense is just beyond pathetic at this point. I have no idea who's telling the truth. And it is fishy for this to come out now. But fishy doesn't mean it's a lie, it just means it needs explained. It could be all true. And if it's all true, will the voters still support him? Is being glued to Trumps ass a free pass? And just to be clear. Trump has the power to investigate Clinton. He can ask his attorney general to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate her. He even promised to do just that on many occasions during his campaign. But he has not, even as he still to this day accuses her, uses her name to deflect. Has not used his power to act on anything. And the only logical conclusion is that she has been investigated. And they don't have evidence to support charging her. I'm glad she lost, I have no love for a Clinton. But the entire pointing to Clinton every time someone with a R next to their name fucks up is old. It just makes right leaning folks look stupid. Like they can't defend their position, so they dangle Clinton the shiny object. The right is going to get killed at the ballot box until they wake up. Stop defending the indefensible. |

...as a FIFTH victim comes forward... All this proves is that the 'family-values' Republicans would elect a pedophile before even considering a Democrat, hypocrites... |
