The thing is that I think this illustrates how kinda clusterfucked and fragmented the syrian opposition is.

Those two guys were obviously just knife-happy grunts- even their 'we cut this dude's head off, allah snackbar' 'speech' was pretty shit.

I'm honestly not even sure how they maintain co-ordinated enough for any major assaults. I mean, they have so many Al-Qaeda splinter groups, as well as other Islamist extremists, and Syrian Loyalist/Assadist forces now [apparently] include ragtag militias from Iraq, as well as Hezbollah and Iranian irregulars...

I'm also surprised that Al-Qaeda's forces in Syria have Shiite allies, so I can kinda see how a uninformed and knife-happy grunt would assume that their victim was an enemy simply because he was Shiite.
