50 Teens Watched, Filmed Boy Dying and Did Not Intervene
This is something we see and comment on almost daily in The Faces of Death videos here on DR, someone dying and a crowd of people stand by with their cellphone cameras out filming the entire incident but do not try to help. Police horrified after at least 50 teens watched, filmed boy dying and did not intervene Part 1: Authorities on Long Island are asking witnesses to come forward after they say at least 50 teens stood by and watched as a 16-year-old boy lay dying in a parking lot after a fight over a girl. KM, a 16-year-old student at Oceanside High School in New York, was lured to the parking lot of a nearby strip mall afteir class Monday by students who reportedly threatened his life if he failed to show up, Nassau County officials said. When he arrived, KM was attacked by a group of six to seven teens and a fight ensued, during which KM sustained a fatal stab wound to his upper torso. Dozens of teens allegedly looked on as KM bled out on the ground, taking videos of the incident instead of calling for help. The victim was eventually taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he died of his injuries. "They videoed his death instead of helping him," Detective Lt. Stephen Fitzpatrick of the Nassau County homicide squad said*at a Tuesday press conference. "I don't know what to make of it, my generation versus this generation," he continued. "This can't go on. Your friends are dying while you stand there and video it. That's egregious." According to KM's sister, 22-year-old (also) KM, the attackers' vendetta first began when her brother walked a girl home from a party on Saturday night after she asked him to do so, WABC reports. (Sister) KM now believes the girl, whose identity has not been released, made the request in order to make her ex-boyfriend jealous, a mission that was apparently successful. The bereaved sister told reporters through tears that she and her family had just moved to Oceanside from nearby Freeport, N.Y., in order to get a fresh start and that her brother had been thrilled with the change before his untimely death. "He told my mom this is the first time in so long that he's been so happy," she said during an interview. Although multiple witnesses have already presented authorities with information on the incident, Detective Lt. Fitzpatrick warned those who may have additional information to come forward immediately. "If you're not a part and parcel of the murder of KM, now's the time to get in touch with us and let us know who did this and why," Fitzpatrick said. "After I put handcuffs on you is not going to be the time" to come forward, he added. TF, 18, is accused of second-degree murder in the deadly after-school brawl that broke out not far from the victim's Long Island school. Police said that most of the "50, 60, 70" kids who witnessed the attack on KM did nothing to stop it. "That's egregious," said Detective Lt Stephen Fitzpatrick. "Kids stood here and didn't help KM," Lt Fitzpatrick said. "They would rather video this event." Police were called to a row of shops near Oceanside High School in Nassau County on Monday afternoon. Mr Fitzpatrick said the fight, which took place outside a pizzeria, was a "pre-arranged dispute" over a girl. Police say the main suspect and six or seven other assailants charged at KM, who was unarmed. The 16-year-old was taken to a local hospital where he died overnight from a single stab wound. A second victim, a 17-year-old boy, was in hospital with swelling to his head and a broken arm. According to authorities, many of the bystanders recorded KM's assault, posting footage to Snapchat and other social media platforms, but none intervened. "They videoed his death instead of helping him," Mr Fitzpatrick said of the teens looking on. District Attorney Madeline Singas called the death a "horrific tragedy". "This is a 16-year-old, he's a child," she said on Thursday. "There is nothing more horrific in our business than the murder of a child." The suspect is expected in court on Thursday. Police said he was previously arrested for possession of a controlled substance and assault. TF's lawyer told Newsday that his client "strongly maintains his innocence" and "took the responsible step of self-surrendering to eventually clear his name". If convicted, he could face up to life in prison. According to local media, the suspect is an aspiring rapper who goes by the name "BT". Source: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-49758181 |

Re: 50 Teens Watched, Filmed Boy Dying and Did Not Intervene
Whitey thinks he can rap..... He wants PC (pathetic custody) because he’s afraid that his wigger personality is going to get him assfucked and killed in jail and prison. Those “human beings” that just sat idly by and watched this kid die, they’re pathetic. Bunch of pussys - wet assed mother fuckers. |
