Looks to me that the bouncers are paid to protect the band..and when the band member jumps into the crowd they cant do their job. So the two bouncers were pulling him back away from the crowd when he started hitting them with his guitar, then the bouncer riled up from this and the afore mentioned "friends equipment" he just had enough.
