Eviction Day, No Money Wife is Sick and My Insurance is Canceled
In March 2012 a Hillsborough County (Fla.) man dialed 911 to report he had shot his ill wife, saying he couldn’t stand to see her suffer. Randall Willis was arrested for 2nd-degree murder. A Florida man shot and killed his wife while she was sleeping on Tuesday because he didn't want her to feel anymore pain. Randall Willis, 61, was arrested shortly after he called 911 to report that he'd shot his terminally ill wife, Gilda, in the head |

He figured that it would be easier if he was in prison with a roof over his head then to be homeless and put his wife through that, very sad situation, can't say I agree with his decision, but you'd have to be in his shoes to know what's going through his mind.

What a shit hand to be dealt to the husband. I can understand why he did what he did, straw breaking the camel's back and so-on. In the end, though, sadly, I think he did what was best for all involved. What's the alternative? On the street with a terminal disease? Freezing your ass off in some shitty half-way house? Either he'll live out the rest of his days in prison, or the consequence of killing his wife will get the emotional better of him and he'll hang himself in his cell. |

Man...I'm sure they both spent years weighing out their options while things just continued to go downhill. You can't help but feel sorry for him, certainly not something he wanted to do I'm sure. Hopefully it was instant. I do wonder, though, if they had talked about something like that as an option. Has he said anything of that, or did he take full responsibility for it? |

very sad but, I think he could of & perhaps should of used a more "respectful" manor to take her life. & I do not agree with what he did. there is a lot of help out there. MAY THE LORD HAVE MERCY ON HER SOUL.. |

Seems there is no compassion in this world unless you come from a foreign country and keep holding your hand out .
